Marisa Sanchez – My hysterically funny, yet sarcastic sister who I affectionately call Roo Roo. She took all the pressure off of me by getting married and having four kids at a young age so I can go and explore the world with zero responsibilities. She donated $40 as part of my X-Mas gift.
Bobbie Jo “Jiggles” Stoddart and her adorable grandma – My wonderful friend who I was stationed with in Italy and who I have had many a crazy weekend partying with. Bobe’ and I got to meet Bobbie Jo’s grandma while we did our roadtrip from Austin to Anchorage, April 2008. They collectively donated $50.
Yunius Schambers - One of my most dear friends who I met at the Dallas Fort Worth airport on our way to USAF (United States Air Force) basic training. We’ve come a long way from AF trainees. Yuni is a Physician’s Assistant for a cardiologist and she’s one hot momma to the cutest baby boy. She donated $50.
Christie Maue - Another amazing AF friend who wonderfully allowed me to crash at her beautiful Hawaiian house for free last winter. I miss our nightly dinner dates on the couch and drinking too many Corona’s while attempting to play the Wii. She donated $100. My biggest donor to date. I’m amazed and feel so blessed!
